Great soil can be improved in a day. A great lawn is built over time.
Soil renovation addresses compaction, organic matter and the root-zone environment. It does not replace ongoing fertility, weed control, disease management, proper irrigation or good mowing practices. For homeowners who want TX GrassRX to manage the lawn after renovation, ongoing Lawn Management is available separately.

Most St. Augustine lawns in Conroe & The Woodlands struggle for the same three reasons.
Compaction
Roots struggle to expand.
Low Organic Matter
Poor nutrient and moisture retention.
Poor Water Movement
Water runs off or doesn't penetrate evenly.
We attack all three.
Most St. Augustine lawn problems in the Houston area start with compacted clay and low organic matter, not a lack of fertilizer. TX GrassRX rebuilds the soil with core aeration, compost topdressing, and carbon amendments, with a $500 project minimum.

The complete root-zone renovation, step by step.
Core aeration opens the soil profile, relieves compaction, and lets oxygen, water, and nutrients reach the root zone.
Premium Turf Mix (compost + sand) topdressing, Carbon Pro-G, and organic chicken manure add organic matter, carbon, and nutrients.
A balanced fertility feed supports recovery and pushes turf growth as the soil wakes back up.
Our humic/fulvic TX GrassRX Soil Spray conditions the soil and improves nutrient availability, then we redistribute and smooth the surface.
Every sod project is different. Prep requirements, grading, tear-out, and soil condition all affect scope. We quote on-site — not by the square foot.
Most St. Augustine sod pallets cover approximately 400 sq ft.
We also handle smaller patch repairs and partial lawn replacements. In many cases, material ordering and delivery thresholds make projects near half-pallet size practical as well.
